Symposium
The national symposium focused on “Prospects and challenges of resource-oriented sanitation systems in Ethiopia” held at AAIT meeting hall, 12 march, 2019. The symposium aimed at resource recovery (Nitrogen and phosphorus) from wastewater (particularly urine) to enhance the sanitation coverage and agricultural productivity. The Executive Director of AAIT, Esayas G/Yohannes (Dr), said that such kind of symposium has great benefit to show up the research conducted focusing on resource recovery. International and national organizations have participated in the research as a partner. USAID, University of Michigan, Addis Ababa Institute of Technology – lead institute, Institute of Biotechnology- lead institute, Hawasa University, Melkasa Agricultural Research center, College of Business and economics are some of the participant organizations on the symposium
